The premise
Ryan has nowhere to go for Thanksgiving, so his friend Kyle takes him home. The platform's brief names Kyle's mother as Lexi Luna, puts the men in front of the football, and has her keep finding reasons to pull Ryan into the kitchen.
How it is built
Five episodes across a single day, with the house doing the structural work: a room full of people in one direction, a kitchen in the other, and a reason to cross between them. The repeated errand is a renewable device, which a one-off occasion would not be.
Who it is for
Readers who follow the credited names, or who prefer an occasion with other people in the house over an empty one. I Dated My Best Friend Mom and My Best Friend's Mom Has One Rule are the nearest premises without the holiday.
