The premise
Short of money, Ren lets his spare room to Yama, the woman he has feelings for. Her impulsive best friend Mira moves in too and turns the question of who ends up with Ren into a bet; as the two escalate, a volatile ex of Mira's reappears wanting a debt settled.
How it is built
Five episodes is compact for three strands — the crush, the bet and the returning ex — so the brief points to a single situation that sharpens rather than an arc that develops. Two episodes are free; the other three are 12 tokens each, 36 for the set.
Who it is for
For readers who like a competitive triangle under one roof with an outside complication. My Roommates Made a Bet shares the wager in its title, and My Roommates are Thirsty! the same tag.
